Transparently Look Into All Claims over Your Stool- Asantehene to Antoahene

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has given an order for the chief of Antoa, Nana Kwaku Ware III, to resolve all outstanding chieftaincy issues over the stool.

The Monarch recognises that many groups are claiming to be royal gates in the town and has directed a transparent probe into all of them.

These cases, His Majesty observes, have for a long time been shoved aside, with the intent of concealing them.

“Many things are in disarray in the town. When you get enstooled, make sure you put them all in order. Nkansa Boansi’s descendants say they are Antoa royals entitled to the stool. It has been outstanding for a long time and you seem to be covering it up.

“Let it come out so I know what’s going on. My sons- descendants of Konadu Sinpinimu- are there. They claim to be part of you. Let me know the truth. We have to put an end to all these issues. We have to know the true royals.”
This came up before Nana Kwaku Ware III took the oath of allegiance on February 24, 2025, during a Kumasi Traditional Council meeting.
