Asantehene Receives News of Demise of Enyan Maimhene Okofo Amoako Bondam III

The Dehyena Royal Family has officially informed the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, about the demise of the Paramount Chief of Enyan Maim Traditional Council, Okofo Amoako Bondam III.
Known in private life as Dr Emmanuel Kenneth Andoh, he passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 80, while visiting his family in the United States.
He is survived by a wife, three children and many grandchildren.
The royal family paid a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on October 9, 2024.
His Majesty encouraged the family to keep his office abreast with all the arrangements for the burial rites.

He was also a devout Methodist with unshakeable faith in God and commitment to serving others. Cherished by his family, friends, and colleagues, Nana was renowned for his boundless curiosity, kindness, wisdom, and generosity.
As a member of the esteemed royal Dehyena family, he served his people with dignity and grace as the paramount chief of Enyan-Maim. His leadership was marked by compassion, foresight, and a deep commitment to the well-being of his community.
