GJA Honours Asantehene For Hosting and Gracing 29th GJA Awards

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has honoured the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his profound support in the successful execution of the 29th Media Awards.

The King graced the event, historically held in Kumasi on November 8, 2025, with his esteemed presence as the Patron.

In appreciation, the Association, through President John Dramani Mahama and GJA President Albert Dwomfour, presented a citation and symbolic artwork to the Monarch.

“In our society and culture, we are taught to say thank you, and we are taught to say thank you irrespective of the size or volume of the gesture that has been extended to us all. Today, the leadership of the GJA is proud to acknowledge this very important norm in our society,” it was announced.
