Asantehene Happy to See Vice President Opoku Agyemang in Good Health

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has expressed joy on meeting Vice President Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang in optimal wellness.

The Monarch met the veep at the 58th Congregation of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on June 28, 2025.

In his speech, while welcoming her, Otumfuo prayed that she thrived in abundant grace and longevity.

“I extend my warmest welcome to our dear Vice President. We are happy to see and welcome you to today’s graduation ceremony. I am personally happy to see you well and healthy, and we pray for God’s abundant grace and long life for you.”

Prof Opoku-Agyemang was taken ill in March. The situation forced her to suspend her official duties to seek medical attention abroad.

She returned late in May to continue her official duties.
