Bawku Conflict: Psyche Up Your Supporters For Outcome- Asantehene to Kusasi and Mamprusi Leadership

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged the leadership of the feuding parties in the Bawku Conflict to begin psyching up their supporters to accept the outcome of the resolution.
This, His Majesty, indicated is crucial to ending the protracted violence and disorder in their communities.
It comes as Otumfuo rounded off his mediation effort with the leadership of two tribes committing to peace ahead of the declaration of the outcome of the Asantehene-led resolution process.
The Asantehene is preparing to submit a report to President John Dramani Mahama in the coming days, hoping the President would act expeditiously and convene a formal meeting of all interested parties to announce the outcome of the mediation, the Manhyia Palace said in a statement on December 1, 2025.
Otumfuo convened a face-to-face meeting between the contending parties to round up the mediation process.

Chief Tarana John Wuni Grumah, Paramount Chief of Tarana Traditional Area and spokesperson of the Naayiri, led a 30-member delegation to represent His Majesty Naa Bohugu Mahami Abdulai Sheriga, the Naayiri and Overlord of the Mamprugu and the Mamprusis.
Meanwhile, Naba Tambis Baalug, Paramount Chief of Pusiga, led the delegation representing the Bawku Naaba Zugraan Asigri Aburgrago Azoka Il and the Kusasi people.
