I Love and Respect Ga Mantse- Asantehene

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has declared his unconditional love and respect towards Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.

His Majesty delved into their shared relations on the sidelines of a courtesy visit on October 5, 2025, by the Ga Mantse and his wife.

His Majesty acknowledged the profound mutual respect and love they share.

“He loves and appreciates our relationship. He calls me ‘daddy,’ and I love and respect him. I trust we can support him to get there.”

The Ga Mantse used the courtesy visit to formally introduce his wife, an Asante, to the King.

“He came with his wife, and he introduced her to me. He has always spoken about her, and today he brought her along.”

The traditional authority and his spouse joined the send-off party hosted by the Asantehene on Sunday afternoon for Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, a former Vice Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), appointed as Ghana’s High Commissioner to India.
