Nana Konadu Yiadom III Dɔte Yie: Where To Park Your Car

Parking areas have been designated for guests attending the burial rites of the late Queen of the Asante Kingdom, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
The arrangement is intended to enhance traffic flow and ensure order around the Manhyia Palace.
The Palace noted that, “Buses will be available to move people from these grounds to Manhyia.”
September 15, 2025
On Monday, September 15, when the rites begin, guests, including the Clergy, Chief Executive Officers and officials of the telecommunication companies, have the Antoa station as their designated parking lot.
On the other hand, Corporate institutions have the Manhyia Melcom Car park reserved as their parking lot, while the Kumasi Central Mosque Park will hold the vehicles of Political parties, Churches, Educational Institutions, Non-governmental Organisations and all recognised institutions.
Meanwhile, the premises of Degraft Memorial Methodist Church and Asawase Metro Cluster of Schools have been designated for members of the general public.
September 16, 2025
On the second day of the traditional event, members of the Judiciary, the Ghana Bar Association, Security agencies, and CEOs of financial institutions will park their cars at the Antoa Station.
The Manhyia Melcom Park will take cars of State-Owned Enterprises and Public officials, while the premises of Degraft Memorial Methodist Church and Asawase Metro Cluster of Schools will cater for the general public.
Behind the dais inside the Manhyia Palace is the reserved parking lot for security heads.
September 17, 2025
On the third day, the Antoa Station will hold the cars of Ministers of State, the Diplomats and Parliamentarians, while the Manhyia Melcom park will hold the vehicles of Municipal and District Chief Executives.
The premises of Degraft Memorial Methodist Church and Asawase Metro Cluster of Schools are designated for the general public.
September 18, 2025
Diplomats attending on the final day will park their vehicles at the Antoa Station, while the general public has the premises of Degraft Memorial Methodist Church and the Asawase Metro Cluster of Schools designated to them.
Note
All attendees are to take note of this information as “no VIP Parking Stickers will be issued or are in circulation,” the Manhyia Palace has affirmed.
It further warned that all cars parked wrongfully within the vicinity of the Manhyia will be towed away from Friday, September 14.
It also directed attendees whose route falls within the blocked roads to seek alternative parking to avoid any inconvenience.
