{Pictures} Otumfuo Meets King Charles

Pictures from a meeting between Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and King Charles III on Thursday are making waves on the internet.

The two monarchs are meeting for the first time since 2018 when Prince Charles then, visited Ghana.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his wife, Lady Julia were received at Buckingham Palace today, May 4, 2023.

The meeting was private.

Otumfuo and Lady Julia donned beautiful Kente fabrics whereas King Charles rocked a suit.

Some pictures from the meeting showed the British monarch welcoming his distinguished guests with handshakes.

Another picture portrayed the two kings standing side-by-side and laughing heartily.

One other picture showed all three of them posing before the camera.

The meeting precedes an official reception for all guests invited to the coronation and the coronation itself on May 5 and 6 respectively.

Otumfuo and Lady Julia will attend all the events marking the coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.

The coronation is set to take place on Saturday, May 6 and will be attended by members of the royal family, foreign dignitaries, and other guests.

Otumfuo arrived in the United Kingdom with his wife on Wednesday, May 3 specifically for the coronation.
