The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has been formally informed of the passing of Sheik Abdul Mumin Haroun, the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, also known as Asantehene Kramo. He was confirmed dead at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, after he was rushed to the medical facility following what has been described as a short illness that night.
