Why Buipewura Described Asantehene as His God on Earth

In his heartfelt appreciative message at the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday, the Paramount Chief of Buipe Traditional Council, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, stated that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is his god on earth.

“I came to express my immense gratitude today. You are my god on earth.”

He indicated that his bold description of the King is linked to the assistance His Majesty has been offering him, most of which is unknown to anyone.

Highlighting how Otumfuo has, without condition, opened his doors to him, he recounted his narrow escape from deskinment as one of the countless privileges he has enjoyed in his affiliation with the Occupant of the Golden Stool.

“You have opened the doors of your home to me at all times. People do not know but I was almost deskinned some time ago but then {after beseeching Otumfuo} Nana told me to be rest assured.”

According to him, the Occupant of the Golden Stool has been a dependable backbone, ensuring his continuous rulership as well as his success.

Buipewura’s earnest desire and prayer for the Asantehene is for God to grant him longevity.

“I brought my Imam here to pray for you. My earnest wish is for you to live long so that Ghana continues to benefit from your presence.”

The traditional leader was at the Palace in Kumasi on February 26, 2025.

He was accompanied by the Buipe Traditional Council, including Danyanwura, Jawasewura, Kunshiwura, Koliwura, Koyapewura, Mandewura, Neripewura, Chaliwura and Masheri-Ase Wuche.
