Asantehene Plans Tour To Adako Jachie With Kotoko Supporters And Old Players

The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will tomorrow, July 22, 2023, visit the Adako Jachie training complex of the Asante Kotoko Sporting Club.

He will visit the venue together with the Asante Kotoko National Circles Council (NCC) and the Asante Kotoko Old Players to get first-hand information about the state of the complex which is under construction.

This was planned on Friday, July 21, 2023, when the Otumfuo held a meeting with the two stakeholders at the Manhyia Palace.

He told the two stakeholders he had not received updates about the complex after giving out the land for the project and is eager to know what has become of it.

“This visit will enable us to know the true state of the Club,” he said.

The project began in October 2020 and was reported to be nearing completion in October 2022.

The first phase of the project when completed will include 30-bed dormitory, a technical block, a medical block, a player’s block and a recreational area.
