Lady Julia Is Full of Luck- Asantehene

One of the secrets to the successful reign of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is his life partner, Lady Julia.

According to His Majesty, Lady Julia embodies good luck and he characterises himself as a lucky man for coming across such a woman.

“In my reign, I am lucky I met a good woman. She has good luck. She is not selfish and she is compassionate towards my family. She is also part of this journey,” he said while addressing congregants at the St Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral during his 74th Birthday Thanksgiving Service on May 6, 2024.

He expressed appreciation to God for such a life partner.

This is the second time His Majesty has praised his wife publicly in the course of his Anniversary celebrations, emphasizing her unflinching support and quest to see him succeed in his reign.

His Majesty also touted traditional authorities in his Kingdom for their faithfulness.

“Asanteman has been faithful to me. Those I came to meet and those who came to meet me have all been helpful in their service to me as well as Kumasi Traditional Council.”

He also used the occasion to show appreciation to royals in the kingdom and his friends.
