Outgoing Central Command GOC Grateful To Otumfuo

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Central Command, Brigadier General Charles Agyemang Prempeh has conveyed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as he exits the post.

While accompanying the Chief of Army Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), Major General Bismarck Kwasi Onwona to the Manhyia Palace on March 19, 2024, the outgoing officer informed His Majesty about his departure.

His successor is expected to take over effective March 28, 2024, he relayed.

“I will use this opportunity to inform His Majesty about my departure. Next week Thursday, my successor will take over. I will bring him here.”

“I thank Otumfuo for all the support he has given me.”

Brig. Gen Agyeman Prempeh will now take over command and authority of the Ghana Military Academy in Accra.
