Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, holds a mini-Durbar in honour of the Chief of Kel Temet, Malik Oussouman, and the Touaregs Culture Ambassador, Mr. Agchekou Aglian.
The Touaregs are members of the nomadic people of the Central and Western Sahara and along the middle Niger from Tombouctou to Nigeria.
They have a large population in Ghana, especially, Kumasi, trading in onions and cattle.
