NSMQ Team Shows Appreciation To Otumfuo Foundation For Sponsoring Assin State College Student
Anthony Kweku Dodu, recipient of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation together with the Managing Director of Primetime, Nana Akua Ankomah-Asare and the Founder of Primetime, Dr Kwaku Mensa-Bonsu yesterday visited the Otumfuo Foundation.
The visit to the board chairman of the foundation, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, was to show appreciation to the foundation for extending a scholarship to Anthony Kweku Dodu, a student of Assin State College in the Central Region who represented his school in the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz.
Anthony Kweku Amofa has been offered admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, to study Telecommunication Engineering at the university.
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation as part of our educational package as a major theme of the foundation is to help promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing (STEM) in the country and also to help brilliant but needy students.
The head of the delegates, Dr Kwaku Mensa-Bonsu, the founder of Primetime expressed their appreciation to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for hosting the National Science and Maths Quiz in his city and his university, KNUST for two years and for granting scholarships for to some of the contestants of the prestigious academic programme.
The 2022 NSMQ ended with Presbyterian Boy’s Secondary School winning the Ultimate trophy.
