Rev Ahima Yeboah Introduced As Asante Presbytery Chairperson


The incoming Chairman of the Asante Presbytery, Rev Samuel Ahima Yeboah, has been introduced to His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The introduction which was on July 5, 2023, was led by the outgoing Chairman, Rev Benson Osafo Kantanka, at the Manhyia Palace.

Before introducing his successor, Rev Osafo Kantanka officially informed the King about the end of his service. He leaves the scene after serving an unrenewable five-year tenure in Office.

His Majesty lauded the efforts of the outgoing chairman.



“Since retiring, he has dedicated himself to training the younger ones. He made the Palace his home and offered his services all the time. I thank him so much. Wherever you go, remember this is your home. He has done great work and developed the church.”

To the successor, he counselled to sustain the Manhyia-Presby tradition- that is, holding a service in the Palace on New Year’s Day.

He also urged him to steer the church towards development as his predecessor did before his takeover.
