Otumfuo Is A Staunch Advocate For Peace – Ashanti Chief Imam
The Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheik Abdul Mumin Harun, has commended Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his dedication to promoting peace.
In an interview on Opemsuo Radio, he recalled how the King of the Ashanti Kingdom was invited to speak about peace at the United Nations, which he found remarkable.
“The King’s reputation for wisdom and selflessness earned him an invitation to speak at the United Nations, a rare honor for a traditional ruler,” he said.
According to Chief Imam, Otumfuo’s selflessness and commitment to peace are evident in his actions, and on his 24th anniversary, he wishes him well.
Similarly, the Kwamohene, Nana Owusu Nyanin I, praised Otumfuo’s efforts in resolving the long-standing Dagbon chieftaincy conflict, citing his intervention as a crucial factor in bringing about peace in the region.
The King’s unwavering focus on peace and development has earned him respect and admiration from various leaders across the country.
