The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has commissioned the newly constructed outbreak preparedness laboratory of the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR). The laboratory, according to President Akufo-Addo, was born out of COVID-19 distress and in anticipation of future public outbreaks. Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has donated an amount of one million cedis (GHC1,000,000) to the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR).
